Advertising policy

Where ads may appear

• Only on public reading pages, such as guides and explainers.
• Never inside the tracker (everything under /app), never on tools where you enter your own numbers (such as the cost worksheet), never in reports or prescriber summaries, and never in emails about your account.
• Every ad is labelled "Advertisement" and is visually separate from the guide.

Your data

• Health information you enter into Light Years is never used to choose, target or measure ads, and is never shared with an advertiser.
• Ad-related cookies or similar technologies are used only after you consent where the law requires consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. See cookies and similar technologies.
• No advertising pixels, tags or session-replay tools run in the tracker or on reports.

What we won't run

• Ads for prescription medications, compounded or unapproved GLP-1 products, or services that prescribe them.
• Ads that promise weight-loss results, or that imply you qualify for coverage.

Independence

Advertisers never review, pay for, or influence what a guide says. See the editorial policy. To report an ad, email hello@lightyears.health.
