Corrected the ODB Limited Use reason code from 474 to 665, 666 or 667 (it depends on the pen). Cash prices are now attributed to a dated pharmacy phone survey (June 9, 2026) instead of being presented as current, and the ODB co-payment statement was removed because we could not source it. - November 2, 2026 · /cost/canada/generic-semaglutide
Updated "around six more submissions under review" to the 11 semaglutide submissions on Health Canada's list as of September 30, 2026. Re-attributed the ~$88 Costco figure to a price-tracker survey rather than news reporting. Removed the claim that most other countries won't see generics for years. Removed uncited claims that fat loss continues while water replaces it, that a pause after a dose change is expected, and that most plateaus resolve on their own. Replaced uncited statements about fat change and water swings with cited research on day-to-day weight variation, and dropped a sodium claim that the evidence does not clearly support.
