Ozempic has several published US prices: a self-pay price from Novo Nordisk, a copay-card price for people whose insurance covers it, a TrumpRx price, and a list price. Here is each one, dated and linked — none of them is necessarily what you will pay.

Self-pay through Novo Nordisk

Novo Nordisk's May 2026 Ozempic price guide lists the pen at $349 a month (0.25, 0.5 or 1 mg); $499 a month (2 mg) (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), May 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[1]. It also lists an introductory offer for new patients: $199 a month (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), May 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[1].

If your insurance covers Ozempic

The Ozempic savings offer for commercially insured people lists as little as $25 a month, with savings capped at $100 a month (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), April 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[2]; government beneficiaries are excluded. See savings cards, explained.

TrumpRx

A February 2026 White House fact sheet says Ozempic and injectable Wegovy are available through TrumpRx.gov at an average of $350 a month, as low as $199 (as reported by The White House, February 5, 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[4].

List price

The same fact sheet cited monthly list prices of Ozempic $1,028; Wegovy $1,349; Zepbound $1,088 a month (as reported by The White House, February 5, 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[4]. Novo Nordisk announced that list prices for Wegovy, Ozempic and Rybelsus fall to $675 a month (as reported by Novo Nordisk, February 24, 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[3], and that this does not change its self-pay prices[3]. Most people don't pay list price; it mainly affects insurers and deductibles.

Medicare

Ozempic is not one of the drugs in the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge for weight management, which covers Wegovy, Foundayo and the Zepbound KwikPen[5]. Ozempic's US label is for type 2 diabetes[6]; ask your Part D plan how it covers your prescription.
