Wegovy now comes as an injectable pen and a daily pill, each with published self-pay prices, plus a copay card, a TrumpRx price, and a new Medicare program. Here is what each source says, dated and linked.
Self-pay through Novo Nordisk
Novo Nordisk's April 2026 Wegovy price guide lists the pen at $349 a month (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), April 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[1], the higher-dose Wegovy HD pen at $399 a month (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), April 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[1], and the pill at $149 / $199 / $299 / $299 a month by dose (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), April 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[1]. For new patients it lists $199 a month (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), April 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[1]. NovoCare says self-pay purchases will not count toward your insurance out-of-pocket limits or deductible[4].
If your insurance covers Wegovy
The savings offer for commercially insured people lists as little as $25 a month, with savings capped at $100 a month (as reported by Novo Nordisk (NovoCare), April 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[1]; government beneficiaries are excluded. See savings cards, explained.
TrumpRx
The White House says injectable Wegovy is available through TrumpRx.gov at an average of $350 a month, as low as $199 (as reported by The White House, February 5, 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[5], and the pill at as low as $149 a month (as reported by The White House, February 5, 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[5].
Medicare
By law, Medicare Part D excludes drugs used specifically for obesity; after Wegovy was approved to reduce cardiovascular risk, Part D plans can cover it for that use[2]. CMS says plans must keep covering Wegovy for that use[6].
Separately, the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge is a CMS demonstration giving eligible Part D enrollees certain GLP-1 drugs for weight management at $50 copay a month (as reported by Medicare.gov (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), July 1, 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[3]. Eligibility depends on BMI and certain health conditions, and a prescriber must certify use[3]. It was extended to the end of 2027[7].
List price
The White House cited monthly list prices of Ozempic $1,028; Wegovy $1,349; Zepbound $1,088 a month (as reported by The White House, February 5, 2026; checked November 2, 2026 — may have changed)[5]. Novo Nordisk says list prices fall to $675 a month[8] from January 1, 2027[8].
